Fair Oaks Library Plans Adult Cookie Decorating Workshop November 19; Only 15 Spaces

FAIR OAKS, Calif. — November 1, 2026. Adults looking for a hands-on seasonal activity have an opportunity to learn cookie-decorating techniques at the Fair Oaks branch of Sacramento Public Library.

The library lists its Cookie Decorating Workshop for Thursday, November 19, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Fair Oaks meeting room. The instructor, Justine of Sugar Sweetery, plans to demonstrate techniques including icing flooding, wet-on-wet decoration and dimensional piping.

Participation rules

The session welcomes adults age 18 or older, including people without prior decorating experience. The organizer says all supplies are provided.

Only 15 participants can be accommodated. Importantly, there is no registration system for this event; attendance is first come, first served. Visitors should not assume they have a reserved space because they viewed or saved the online listing.

Before attending

Residents with allergies or dietary restrictions should contact the library about ingredients and food handling rather than assume every cookie or icing mixture is suitable. The calendar does not specify an accommodation policy or promise that all participants can take home the same number of cookies.

Check the official event listing for changes, and arrive with adequate time for the limited-capacity session. The Fair Oaks meeting room is the advertised location; branch staff can confirm accessibility and directions.
